HELLO! I’m Andy Junk, a Chicago born, Brooklyn based, award-winning actor, writer, and improvisor. I am physically weak, but emotionally strong. Currently, you can see me improvising with my team, Olestra, at the hottest joint in town, The Brooklyn Comedy Collective. Back in Chicago, I performed regularly as a member of the Improvised Shakespeare Company.

I starred in Dinner in Hyde Park, a short film, and won the “Best Actor” award at the Midwest Film Festival for my performance. They gave me a trophy, and I hid it in my house for fear of being a brag.

Do you like short stories? No? Then skip my piece, The Electric Cousin, featured in the award winning Chicago Comedy ‘Zine, Word Brothel.

I was trained in comedic improvisation back in Chicago in the Second City Conservatory, and the legendary iO Theater. There, I eventually became an instructor myself; a job I secured by besting the oldest and weakest instructor in hand-to-hand combat. I got hurt, but I didn’t cry.

Andy is represented by CESD Talent.
